Midwest Press and Automation LLC is a solutions-based company, established in January of 2010. Although it started as a sales organization, it rapidly evolved into the full sales and service company it is today.
With over 70 highly qualified employees, MPA has become one of the most diversified companies to serve customers in the press room industry. MPA strives to keep up to date with the ever-improving technologies of the industrial world to keep our customers running in optimal shape.

Founded
MPA opens in January as a sales organization in Michigan — the beginning of something extraordinary.
First Office
Moves to 1,000 sq ft in Grand Ledge, MI plus two Lansing manufacturing spaces with 5-ton and 25-ton cranes.
Current Home
Consolidates at 2904 Snow Road, Lansing, MI — 15K of 54K sq ft. Sales and Service united under one roof.
Building Purchase & MPA Machining
Leasing space doubled, then building purchased in August. MPA Machining established in November.
Welding Shop
A dedicated welding shop is launched — a transformative addition that complements the growing organization.
Engineering & 35+ Employees
Engineering Manager hired. Workforce reaches 35+ as MPA cements its position as a diversified industrial leader.
CNC Growth & New Office
New CNC equipment added. A state-of-the-art 7,000 sq ft front office replaces the original 1,000 sq ft building.
Southeast Expansion
Acquires GT Production — adding Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to MPA's territory.
New Ownership & Eaton Rapids
Nick Martin becomes part owner. A 35,000 sq ft facility purchased in Eaton Rapids with in-floor heat and three crane bays.
70 Employees & Midwest Reach
Workforce hits 70. eBay store launched. Expands into IN and IL. 50-ton CNC mill acquired. Crane capacity reaches 60 tons.
Investing in People
Pay scale improvements retain top talent. Planning begins for a 35,266 sq ft addition for assembly and machining.
Major Construction
68' × 402' addition breaks ground. New 60/30-ton crane, electrical clean room, and semi tractor for the Rigging Division.
A New Era
New space occupied in April. Phase 2 underway. Welding robot and large CNC lathe for driveshafts added.
